Live Center Applications

The Econo live center is specifically engineered for general manual lathe applications. Many manufacturing processes such as polishing, coating, and general tool room applications do not require heavy stock removal rates or high RPM capabilities. The Econo live center is an excellent alternative to imported live centers. Although this live center is not repairable, it is eligible for a trade-in allowance of up to 35% off the list price of a new live center. The low cost and durability of the Econo makes it an excellent value.

Live Center Availability

Econo live centers are available from stock in Morse Tapers. Two standard point configurations are offered to provide maximum flexibility. Standard point and tracer point live centers are available from stock. Custom variations of the Econo live center can be designed using our on-line design tool or by discussing your application with one of our product specialists

Live Center Technical Specifications

Spindles are through hardened for maximum durability. The three sealed bearings are lubricated for the life of the center. Sealed bearings provide protection from coolant and other contaminants.

Live Center Repair

The Econo live centers are not repairable but a generous trade-in allowance of up to 35% is allowed against the purchase of a new live center.
